MAHA International 2010

Today, the Malaysian Agricultural, Horticulture & Agrotourism International Show 2010 (MAHA 2010) will start later in the morning. The exposition is hosted and organized by the joint effort of Ministry of Agriculture & Agro-based Industry (MOA), the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) & MardiTech that will lasted for 10 days starts from 26th November to 5th December 2010.

Located in the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), the expo that will be opened from 10am to 10pm, is the largest agricultural exposition in Southeast Asia. Accompanied by 28 countries that include a variety of activities & demonstrations, they also display products output by over thousand local companies.

Expo aims not only to attract tourists and provide knowledge to visitors, but has the specific objective which aims to make the pitching of small and medium entrepreneurs(SME) and also displays technology in agriculture and tourism as well as highlighting more quality products locally and other halal products.

Many interesting activities are held such as the Competition of Wedding Flowers, Ornamental Plant Breeding Techniques and Re-potting, Coloring Contest, "Koi" Fish Contest, Fishing Competition, Treasure Hunt, Sales of Ornamental Trees, promotional sales of Landscape Products and many more.

In addition, there are a variety of demonstrations by local companies such as Palm Management,Palm Fronds Cutting for Livestock's Food, Compact Rice Mill Machinery, Vitato Harvesting Machinery, Corn & Napier grass Harvesting Machinery, Swiftlet Poultry, Cooking Demonstrations and also Sales Kiosks.

Thus, let spend some time to visit the expo or even to participate in the activities or demonstrations and to view the outcome of our quality products  that produced through innovation process by Malaysian.
